History

Letícia holds a Bachelor of Laws, with honors, from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), having completed part of her degree at the University of Lisbon, Portugal (UL), with a focus on the study of Constitutional and Comparative Law.

Career

  • Letícia focuses her practice on complex arbitration and litigation involving various types of commercial disputes;
  • From 2019 to 2023, Letícia was a teaching assistant for the Civil Procedure Law and Public Law course taught by Professors Cassio Scarpinella Bueno and Jacintho Arruda Câmara at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. Letícia has also published academic articles related to such subjects.

Representative Matters

  • Represented one of the most important Brazilian construction companies in judicial and arbitration disputes involving the management and construction of the country’s largest sports arena;
  • Represented one of the world’s largest mining companies in a dispute related to industrial property rights, with an estimated value of USD 5.5 billion;
  • Advised a consortium of companies in the electricity sector in pre-litigation involving issues related to the construction of one of the country’s largest hydroelectric power plant;
  • Represented large Brazilian investment funds in litigation involving special situations and distressed assets, related to investments that exceed BRL 300 million.
